Then go ahead. The game SHOULD be played as your characters, since the meta gaming already overshadowed the roleplaying parts. Just remember you are not special, that other should be playing in your standards 😂 Just shut up, enjoy the game and and if you like, share a story of how you play it.

Last night I finally reached this part of the game. It was as wonderful as I expected. I'm so glad I made myself a rug of Bhaal beforehand. Afterwards I stood on it, playing this video, arms extended. Then my husband came out of the room, saw me and only asked "You killed Orin?" Me, smiling "IN BHAAL'S NAME!"

My best decision was playing Dark Urge on my very first playthrough, you actually feel part of the world, and to me is the true main character of the game.

A player at my table during the winter semester was playing a hexblade warlock who had a connection to the Negative Plane which compelled him against his will to kill people and take their souls. Used this as the murder music whenever he was losing his control of it.

I've played thousands of hours of BG3 and fell in love with the music immediately. This is so well put together I searched frantically for it in the official release. Fantastic mix of some of the best themes in the game.

So far this is the best metal cover I've heard and it's 5 years old at the time of writing this. The more recent ones are way too synth heavy and not enough of the actual instruments. This is perfectly balanced. This deserves way more likes and should be at the top of the search results.

There is an ambient background music in scene when you as dark urge try to kill your loved companion while he is asleep in camp. I haven't been able to find that music anywhere. It sounds beautiful though. Anyone knows? 🙏

I particularly like this artwork. Dark Urge as a vengeance paladin and later potentially an oathbreaker is very fitting if you know his backstory.

Okay spoliers for Act 2 and 3 for Bg3. Can anyone explain to me why Orin doesnt kill the Dark Urge before the events of the game? I mean before her boss fight she gloats that she split our skull and put the tadpole in our brains but i feel like she couldve easily just killed us in that situation even if she thought we were already bested. When you enter the illithid colony at the end of act 2 theres a pod that was clearly the dark urges and its implied we escaped it and somehow ended up on the nautiloid? I guess im confused as to why Orin didnt just end us and why we were relocated unless im just missing the plot.

It just occurred to me how fitting it is that default Durge is a white dragonborn. In the D&D monster manual it says that white dragons are the most animalistic and savage of the chromatic dragons.
